I would've spoken Spanish fluently YEARS earlier if I knew this...
Hola {{first_name}},
If you’ve ever thought:
You’re not alone. I went through the same thing.
For YEARS I studied grammar charts, verb tables, and long vocabulary lists. I could pass tests, but when it was time to speak with a real person in Spanish… my mind went blank.
The big shift that finally changed everything for me?
I stopped memorizing random words
…and started mastering high-frequency phrases.
Instead of learning words like caballo, mariposa, and biblioteca first, I focused on phrases I could use every single day in real conversations, like:
- ¿Cómo te fue? – How did it go?
- ¿Qué estás haciendo? – What are you doing?
- ¿Me puedes ayudar? – Can you help me?
- No entendí, ¿Lo puedes repetir? – I didn’t understand, can you repeat that?
- ¿Cómo se dice ___ en español? – How do you say ___ in Spanish?
These phrases are powerful because they:
- Show up all the time in real life
- Help you actually interact with people
- Give you full sentences, not just lonely words in your head
This is how you start turning “studying Spanish” into using Spanish.
